PortalMill - the new Herman Miller factory
Herman Miller opened its newest manufacturing facilities in the UK in late 2015. It is called PortalMill and is located in Melksham, Wiltshire. The architectural design of almost 16,000 m2 of production, office and logistics space was undertaken by the renowned British architect Sir Nicholas Grimshaw. The project thus became the third completed project between the Grimshaw studio and the HERMAN MILLER brand.
Seeing this work with our own eyes was an amazing experience for our GOYART DESIGN team, as well as for our partners in Slovakia. We believe that visiting these premises will become a pleasant tradition, thanks to which we will succeed in strengthening the HERMAN MILLER brand.
