Herman Miller opened its newest manufacturing facilities in the UK in late 2015. It is called PortalMill and is located in Melksham, Wiltshire. The architectural design of almost 16,000 m2 of production, office and logistics space was undertaken by the renowned British architect Sir Nicholas Grimshaw. The project thus became the third completed project between the Grimshaw studio and the HERMAN MILLER brand.
HERMAN MILLER opened a new showroom in London at the beginning of June, and GOYART DESIGN, as a local partner for Slovakia, had the opportunity to view it together with business partners. In addition to the presentation of products and a tour of the showroom, this trip also included a lecture on the LIVING OFFICE concept by the recognized expert on OFFICE solutions, Marko Catchlov.
